RARIDALI Partners with RENU at the ICT Directors Forum 2024
On the 18th and 19th of July, the serene environment of Speke Resort Munyonyo buzzed with the energy of innovation and collaboration as RENU (Research and Education Network Uganda) hosted the ICT Directors Forum 2024.
A Collaborative Effort in Advancing Knowledge, Community, and Solutions
The theme for this year, "Knowledge, Community, and Solutions," resonated deeply with the attendees, sparking discussions and initiatives to propel the research and education sectors forward.
As a proud partner of RENU, RARIDALI Company was honored to
support this significant event. Our collaboration with RENU underscores our
shared commitment to advancing ICT solutions that empower educational and
research institutions across Uganda.
About RENU
RENU is a community-driven, non-profit organization that fosters collaboration among research and education institutions and their global partners. Since its inception in 2006, RENU has evolved from a National Research and Education Network (NREN) primarily focused on connectivity needs, into a leading provider of specialized ICT solutions for the broader Research and Education (R&E) community. This includes universities, schools, hospitals, and other tertiary institutions.
RENU's mission is to overcome barriers to information and knowledge exchange by providing high-speed Internet connectivity and other affordable solutions. This mission aligns perfectly with RARIDALI's vision of leveraging technology to create impactful, sustainable solutions.
The ICT Directors Forum 2024
The ICT Directors Forum is a pivotal event in RENU's calendar, bringing together ICT directors, managers, and professionals from various member institutions. The forum serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and the development of innovative solutions tailored to the unique challenges faced by the R&E community.
This year's theme, "Knowledge, Community, and
Solutions," highlighted the critical role of collaborative efforts in
addressing the evolving ICT needs of educational and research institutions.
Through a series of workshops, panel discussions, and interactive sessions,
participants explored new technologies, shared best practices, and developed
strategies to enhance the ICT infrastructure within their organizations.
Looking Ahead
Our partnership with RENU and our involvement in the ICT Directors Forum 2024 reflect our dedication to contributing positively to Uganda's ICT ecosystem. We look forward to many more collaborative efforts that will continue to foster growth, innovation, and excellence in the research and education sectors.
